Children's Workshops
-
Some MaD Crafty workshops are specifically designed for children. The age range will be stated on the individual workshop booking page.
-
Children must be accompanied by a parent, carer or responsible adult for the full duration of the workshop.
-
Our children's workshops are not drop-off activities.
-
The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising their child throughout the workshop, including when using printing blocks, paints and other materials.
-
MaD Crafty tutors provide instruction, guidance and assistance with the creative activity but do not provide childcare or one-to-one supervision
-
If the accompanying adult becomes unwell or is unable to continue supervising their child during the workshop, they should inform a MaD Crafty tutor immediately. The emergency contact provided at booking may be contacted where necessary. If there is a serious medical emergency, the emergency services will be contacted..
For more information about our approach to children's safety and safeguarding, please see our Children's Safeguarding & Safety Policy.

For children's workshops, specific parent/carer permission will be requested before photographs of children are used for promotional purposes.
-
Photography consent is optional and is not required to attend a workshop.
-
We will not intentionally use identifiable photographs of children for promotional purposes where permission has not been given.

We will avoid using children's full names or other unnecessary personal information alongside photographs.

Parents and carers are welcome to take photographs of their own children, but please be considerate of other participants and do not photograph or share images of other children without their parent's or carer's permission.
Accessibility & Additional Needs
We want our workshops to be enjoyable and accessible wherever possible.
If you or your child has a disability, additional need, medical condition or other requirement that may affect participation, please contact us before booking so that we can discuss how we can best support you.
Some venues may have their own accessibility arrangements, so please let us know if you have any specific requirements.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking, particularly where refreshments or food are provided.
While we will take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Handmade & Imperfect
Block printing is a handmade process and imperfection is part of the charm!
Because our workshop projects and products are hand printed, no two pieces will be exactly the same.
Slight variations, smudges, differences in colour or print are normal and should be expected.
That's what makes your finished piece unique!
Questions or Concerns
If you have any questions before booking, or need to let us know about something that may affect your participation, please get in touch.
