Gift Cards, Vouchers & Discounts Policy

General

This policy explains the terms and conditions relating to MaD Crafty Block Printing gift cards, vouchers, discounts and promotional offers.

By purchasing or using a gift card, voucher or discount, you agree to the applicable terms below.

These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.

Gift Cards

• Gift cards can be used towards any eligible MaD Crafty Block Printing workshop or taster session, subject to availability.

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date will be shown on the gift card.

• The gift card must be used to make a booking before its expiry date. The workshop itself may take place after the expiry date, subject to availability.

• Gift cards do not guarantee a place on a particular workshop, date or event.

• Gift cards can be used as full or part payment towards a booking.

• If the cost of the booking is greater than the gift card value, the remaining balance must be paid at the time of booking.

• If the booking costs less than the gift card value, the remaining balance may be used towards a future eligible booking, provided the gift card has not expired.

• Gift cards may be transferred or given as a gift but cannot be resold for profit.

• Gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash or refunded, except where required by law.

• Gift cards cannot be used to purchase another gift card.

• Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards cannot normally be replaced. Please keep your gift card and redemption details safe.

• Gift cards are subject to the MaD Crafty Workshop Policy and booking terms.

If MaD Crafty Cancels a Workshop

If MaD Crafty has to cancel or reschedule a workshop for which a gift card has been used, we will offer an alternative date or another appropriate arrangement.

Where necessary, the validity of the gift card will be extended to allow the customer a reasonable opportunity to use it.

 

Taster Session £5 Discount

Customers who attend a MaD Crafty Block Printing Taster Session will receive £5 off a subsequent eligible full workshop booking.

• The discount is issued following attendance at the taster session.

• The discount is valid for 6 months from the date of the taster session.

• The discount is for the person who attended the taster session and is non-transferable.

• The discount cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

• The discount cannot be applied retrospectively.

• The discount cannot be used in conjunction with another discount code or promotional offer unless specifically stated.

 

Discount Codes & Promotional Offers

• Discount codes must be entered at the time of booking and cannot normally be applied retrospectively.

• Unless otherwise stated, only one discount code or promotional offer may be used per booking.

• Discount codes are non-transferable and are intended for the person or customers to whom they were issued.

• Discounts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

• Promotional offers are subject to their individual terms, including any stated validity period, eligibility requirements or booking restrictions.

 

Combining Gift Cards, Discounts & Offers

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• Gift cards may be used towards the cost of a standard booking.

• Gift cards cannot normally be combined with discount codes or promotional offers.

• More than one gift card may be used towards a booking where MaD Crafty has agreed this in advance.

• Only one discount code or promotional offer may be applied to a booking.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Bookings made using a gift card, voucher or discount code remain subject to the MaD Crafty Workshop Policy, including the applicable cancellation terms.

Where a customer cancels a booking, any refund, credit or reinstatement of a gift card or voucher will be dealt with in accordance with the Workshop Policy and applicable consumer law.

​

Discount codes will not normally be reissued or extended following cancellation unless stated in the relevant promotional terms or required by law.

​

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights a customer may have.

 

Expiry

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

​

Taster Session discounts are valid for 6 months from the date of the taster session.

​

Other vouchers and promotional codes are valid for the period stated when they are issued.

​

Expired gift cards, vouchers and discount codes will not normally be accepted. However, MaD Crafty may extend a validity period at its discretion where there are exceptional circumstances or where an extension is required to ensure a customer is not unfairly disadvantaged.

 

Changes to the Gift Card & Discount Scheme

MaD Crafty may amend or withdraw its gift card, voucher or promotional schemes in the future.

Any changes will not affect gift cards already purchased or bookings already confirmed, except where a change is required by law.

If MaD Crafty Stops Offering Workshops

If MaD Crafty permanently stops offering the workshops or experiences for which a gift card can be redeemed, we will provide appropriate information to affected gift card holders and deal with outstanding gift cards in accordance with applicable consumer law.
